WOW - this was so easy and Paul is so accommodating. I was referred to Paul by a friend. I sent him an email, which he promptly responded to, we set up a time for him to come over and look at what I wanted to do with my kitchen windows - and brought some sample blinds with him. After 2 months of trying and failing to get the original installer to repair 3 blinds/shades that had broken cords or faulty locking mechanisms (and were still under warranty), I lost patience and decided to look for a different contractor to replace the blinds. The day after I called Westshore Carpet & Blinds, Paul Tremblay came out to give an estimate, bringing lots of samples and taking time to carefully explain all the options and help me choose colors. I decided to order cordless cellular shades for the windows and door; Paul said they usually take two and a half weeks to be delivered, and in fact they were right on time. Paul did the installation cleanly and efficiently, and helped to dispose of the old blinds. I am very pleased with the new cellular shades, which are easy to raise and lower, and the colors match really well too! I am planning to gradually replace all the window/door blinds in the house, and will definitely hire Paul's company again. They may not offer the lowest prices, but I would rather pay a little more to have competent, responsive and reliable service, which you certainly get with Westshore Carpet & Blinds.

We met with Paul for solar shades for an office. He us a proposal right than & there. He said delivery would take approximately 2 weeks & he was right. The installation went smoothly & the finish product is outstanding. We are extremely happy with the installed appearance & operation of the shades. After our first installment in turned out that Paul needed to return our blinds as they were defective. He did this promptly with goodwill, and returned to install the new ones as soon as they came in. Our second order and installment was for Roman shades that proved extremely difficult to install due to the design of the brackets. Paul was great to do business with. Having just bought a new home we needed blinds fast but wanted an outstanding product. Paul not only answered my email inquiry over labor day weekend, he came to our house. He brought the samples we were interested in and helped us choose the products we wanted. What a pleasant experience from start to finish. After calling for an introductory appointment I promptly received a return call and had a date within a very reasonably time frame. Paul arrived on schedule. We reviewed my needs and the products that he had available. Once I made my choice he told me he'd be ready in about 2 weeks. I did receive quotes although he was not the lowest bid but in my opinion, he was the best. Keeping in mind, "you get what you pay for". Renovating a home from the floors up can be a strenuous experiance for any home owner. I was 4 months into my renovations and it was time to focus on the fun aspect of things. I contacted Paul who agreed to meet at my home for an on site visit. Upon arrival he was professional and well prepared. We talked about my overall design goals for each room, amount of light and privacy needed. We agreed to a production installation schedual that Paul not only met he exceeded my expectations with being done sooner than projected. He installed 17 windows and 1 sliding glass door and the overall effect of his work is stylish and perfect for each room from size, color and material. Paul was also up front about promotions and specials on the window treatments I was considering so I was able to maximize my savings. The experience for buying the materials was effortless as well as getting a bid.
